Shakeia Smith is a native of Carbondale, Illinois. She is the only daughter of the late Solen Smith Jr. and Susan Harper.  Starting from a young age, Shakeia has been involved in the community through various activities, including traveling to sing gospel, hosting events to encourage youth, capturing creative moments through photography, and assisting in building a positive atmosphere in her neighborhood. Shakeia's desire to pour out all that God has created in her to do, so that she can be all that God has created her to be, for such a time as this.

What's his/her goal?

My goal is to gain understanding, knowledge, and wisdom of God’s Word. I desire to have clarity in the scriptures to be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. I am honored to have been graced to build a business that assists those who do not know how to begin a conversation about Jesus Christ. The goal is to present opportunities for every client to tell the good news of Jesus and lead many to salvation.

Where does he/she see themselves in 5 years?

In the next five years, I see myself on mission trips to plant into the lives of the youth the Love of Jesus Christ. I see myself in the process of building a academy with a garden for the youth who have given their lives to Christ and want to learn more and have a safe haven where they can gain support, knowledge of God’s Word, and encouragement to keep walking in their faith work with Christ Jesus. I see myself serving to the communities in action for man to see the Love of Jesus for such a time as this. I see myself teaching what I learned, so that the body of Christ can continue to grow. I can’t do it by myself, but I do see me apart of a ministry that will collaborate with what God has poured into me to pour into others. Teamwork makes the dream work.
