Hello, I’m Shakeia L. Smith, a creative visionary and photographer based in Carbondale, Illinois. I am a proud graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Photography. My passion lies not only in capturing images, but in telling meaningful stories that reflect identity, purpose, and hope.

 

Photography, for me, is more than an art—it is a ministry of connection. I find deep joy in pouring the Fruit of the Spirit into others, creating spaces where love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and faith are felt and experienced. Every session is approached with intention, compassion, and a heart to uplift those I serve.

 

My work is inspired by faith and guided by the belief that each person carries divine worth and beauty. Whether I’m behind the camera or connecting with others, my mission is to encourage confidence, celebrate authenticity, and reflect God’s light through creativity.
